Last updated 16 August 2026You can delete your Kerdili account whenever you like — from inside the app, or by asking us here, without installing anything.
Deleting it in the app
If you are a customer: open Settings, then Delete my account, and confirm.
If you are a shop: open Settings, then Close this shop. You will be shown exactly what is about to be destroyed — customers, entries, products and staff — and your customers are notified. This cannot be undone.
Asking us instead
Write to contact@kerdili.app from the phone number on the account, or send a message to [WhatsApp number], saying:
- the name on the account,
- the phone number you sign in with,
- whether it is a customer account or a shop.
We will confirm it is really you before deleting anything, and complete the deletion within [deletion window, e.g. 30 days].
What gets deleted
- Your profile: your name and phone number.
- Your ability to sign in — the account stops being yours.
- Family codes you created.
- For a shop that closes: its customers, entries, products, staff accounts and payment plans, permanently.
What remains, and why
If you are a customer, the lines a shop already wrote in its own book stay in that shop's records, shown against a name and number instead of a live account. Those entries are the shop's commercial record of money it is owed, and deleting an app account does not cancel a real debt. If you have settled up and want the record removed, ask the shop directly — it is theirs to delete.
We also keep the minimum needed to meet Algerian record-keeping obligations and to stop a deleted account being used to evade a debt, for [retention period]. Nothing kept is used for advertising, and nothing is ever sold.
