Terms of Service
Last updated 16 August 2026These terms govern your use of the Kerdili app and this website. Please read them: the most important points are about what Kerdili is not.
Kerdili is a record-keeping tool. It is not a lender, not a bank, not a payment service, and not a party to any debt. No money passes through Kerdili at any point. A debt recorded in the app is an agreement between a shop and a customer, and only those two can settle it.
Who we are
Kerdili is operated by [legal name of the company], [registered address, Algeria], contactable at contact@kerdili.app.
Who may use it
You must be 18 or over. A shop account must be opened by someone entitled to act for that business. You are responsible for what is done under your account, including by staff accounts you create.
What the shop agrees
- To write entries that are true — the right amount, for the right customer, on the day it happened.
- That its staff accounts act on its behalf, and that “records only” staff are still its responsibility.
- To fix mistakes by adding a correction, which both sides will see.
- That the credit it gives, the limit it sets and the debt it collects are its own commercial decisions, not ours.
What the customer agrees
- To check the entries written against them and to raise a disagreement with the shop promptly.
- That a family code given to someone else results in entries on the account holder's own book.
- That the debt is owed to the shop, not to Kerdili.
The ledger is append-only
Entries cannot be edited or deleted, by you or by us. A mistake is corrected by a new, opposite entry, and both remain visible. This is the property that makes the book worth trusting, and it is not configurable.
Disagreements between a shop and a customer
Kerdili shows both sides the same record; it does not judge who is right. If you disagree about an entry, settle it with the other party. We will not take sides, alter a ledger, or act as an arbitrator.
Subscription
- Customers pay nothing, ever. There is no paid tier on the customer side.
- A shop subscribes at 600 DZD per month, or for 3, 6 or 12 months at the rates shown at the time of purchase.
- Payment is made by bank transfer, outside the app. Nothing is charged automatically and no payment details are stored by us.
- If a subscription lapses, the shop keeps read access to its own book. We do not delete a shop's records for non-payment.
Ending it
A customer may delete their account at any time. A shop may close its shop from Settings, which permanently destroys that shop's records — customers are notified and it cannot be undone. We may suspend an account that is used unlawfully, or to harass, or to record debts that were never agreed.
What we do not promise
Kerdili records what people type. We do not guarantee that an entry is accurate, that a debt is enforceable, or that a customer will pay. The service is provided as it is, and we do not promise it will be available without interruption.
Our liability
To the extent Algerian law allows, we are not liable for money you fail to collect, for a debt disputed between you and another user, or for loss caused by entries that a user wrote incorrectly. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Algeria, and the courts of [city] have jurisdiction.
Changes
We will tell you in the app before terms that affect you change. Continuing to use Kerdili after that means you accept the new version.
